Stampers with An Attitude February Blog Hop

Welcome to the February's Stampers with An Attitude Blog Hop. I bet you are wondering, just who are the Stampers with An Attitude?????   They are a Close to My Heart team of consultants lead by my awesome upline, Kimberly Moss.

Each month the Stampers with An Attitude Blog Hop focuses on a different theme. Our theme for February is focusing on the Charlotte Paper collection or Easter.  This month I am following Sheila in the hop. So whether you arrived here from her hop or are just getting started, you are on the right track. If you lose your place while traveling through our blog hop, the complete list of participants can be found at the bottom of this post. Thank you for stopping by and happy hopping.

For my cards, I chose to use the Charlotte Papers and our How To Book, Originals for my inspiration. The stamp sets I used were C1605 Happy to Be Friends, I love the variety of sayings in this stamp set. I also used D1663 Floral Banners, which not only has sayings but flowers, leaves, and Banners.

My first card is an altered version of the Three Elements 6x6 card on pg. 18. I made it into a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card. I used our Sorbet, Whisper, and Black Inks.

For my next card, I used the  pattern, A Message Secured on pg. 77 which I also altered from a 5 x 7 card to a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card.  In addition to Sorbet, Whisper and Black Inks, I also use Champagne Ink.

I would like to thank you for visiting my blog. Hope you were inspired by my projects. Our next talented artist's blog belongs to Karen I am sure you will enjoy what she has to share.

La Vie En Rose Cards

This month I am using the La Vie En Rose papers for my cards. this first card is a tri-fold card with a small flap at the top. It is made from a 4 1/2 x 12 inch piece of Daisy White Cardstock. It is scored at 1 1/4 inches for the flap then the bottom is folded up to the fold. The saying is attached to a toothpick and stuck into the double sided tape used to raise the leaves. For all cards, I stamped the flowers and leaves with the January Stamp of the Month, Beloved Bouquet.
This Flowerpot card is also made with the La Vie En Rose papers and a sheet of Hollyhock cardstock.
Here is the flower pot and pull out sentiment. The flowers and leaves are layered with 3D tape.
All the flowers are made with a solid base stamp and an outline stamp. the solid base was inked with Pixie ink then I sponged it with Poppy ink and Pomegranate Ink. Then I stamped the Outline stamp with Pomegranate ink. Leaves were done 2nd generation with Fern ink using the solid stamp then with the outline stamp also using Fern ink. the sentiments are also from the January Stamp of the Month, Beloved Bouquet.

Baby Card with Babycakes Paper Kit

I made this 6 x 6 card for my daughter and son-in-law, who had a baby boy earlier this month. I used a retired kit called Babycakes as well as the canvas complements that went with it. I sponge the edges of the papers with chocolate and buttercup. I really love these papers. I am going to make a similar card in a couple weeks with our new baby themed papers, Georgie. Thanks for visiting and stay tuned for more posts.

I cut clouds with our Newest Cricut cartridge Artistry, which I sponged with Slate Ink and glacier Ink. The photo mats are made with sorbet cardstock and sponged with Sorbet Ink.

SWAA Zoe Blog Hop

I'm participating in my Close to My Heart Team, the Stampers with Attitude Team Blog Hop this month. Our theme this month is artwork using the NEW Zoe paper line. In case you have not heard of a blog hop, it is a circular hop.  If you have come here from Melissa's Blog then you are on the right track. Don't worry about whose blog you start with, if you keep hopping you will get around to all of us. Then when you are done here, you will find a link near the bottom of my post, just before the list of all our bloggers. You will just click on the link to Kimberly's blog.

This card and sleeve was made with our Artiste Cricut Cartridge. You will find it on Page 58; I cut it at 7". I distress  the Canary Cardstock with the direct to paper technique using Canary Ink, I did the same with the Sorbet Ink on the Sorbet Cardstock. Then still using Canary Ink, I random stamped using "Happy Birthday" from the August SOTM of the Month Stamp Set. I sponged the edge of the Background Texture paper with Sorbet Ink. and around the White Daisy Cardstock Cricut cut for the saying. The saying is stamped with Slate Ink. I used the Pretty Petal Stamp Set and using Sorbet Ink I stamped the flowers in first and second generation. The flowers are stamped in Canary Ink and the leaves in Sweet Leaf. Some of the flowers,  flower centers and leaves are raised with 3D tape.
Here is a Money/Gift Certificate card I made. Again, I used the Pretty Petal Stamp Set,  Sorbet Ink, Canary Ink, Sweet Leaf. The saying was stamped with Slate Ink and a stamp set (D1529) from the Artiste Cricut Collection. I laid a piece of White Shimmer Trim across the card before layering on the Flowers and saying.

This card I made using a pattern from our How-To Book, Originals. I used the pattern Pieced Panels which is a 3 x 3 card that I revised to a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I stamped the frame and saying using the August Stamp of the Month. The saying is stamped in Sorbet Ink and the saying in Slate Ink. The arrow is from the Zoe Workshop on The Go Stamp Set and is also stamped in Slate Ink. The Background Texture papers are sponged with Sorbet Ink, Glacier Ink, and Slate Ink. Under the Frame which is raised with 3D tape I put a strip of Coral Shimmer Tape as well as on the end of the arrow.
